Die Kompilation wurde auf eine gemeinsame Nomenklatur gebracht sowie hinsichtlich der Blattschnittgrenzen und Übergänge auf Richtigkeit und Sinnhaftigkeit geprüft und gegebenenfalls adaptiert. Ein besonderes Augenmerk der Karte liegt auf den Permo-Mesozoischen Einheiten der Nördlichen Kalkalpen, da diese als besonders wichtig für die Nutzung von hydrothermaler Geothermie im Projektgebiet angesehen wurden. Das Kristallin und das Quartär wurden hingegen stark vereinfacht dargestellt. The map was compiled from published data, as well as unpublished manuscripts from University of Innsbruck and Geosphere Austria. The compilation presents a consistent nomenclature and was checked and corrected on geological coherence above map sheet boundaries. The focus of this map lies on the Permo-Mesozoic sedimentary succession of the Northern Calcareous Alps. This succession was ascribed as highly relevant for the use of hydrothermal geothermal energy projects. On the other hand, crystalline basement rocks and quaternary sediments are simplified. Kompilation aller verfügbaren geologischen Kartenunterlagen (veröffentlichte und unveröffentlichte Manuskripte) im Projektgebiet des Unterinntals, zwischen dem Raum Innsbruck und Raum Kufstein. Die Datensätze wurden auf eine vereinfachte, einheitliche Nomenklatur gebracht, mit dem Fokus auf die Permo-Mesozoischen Sedimente der Nördlichen Kalkalpen. Differenzen an Blattschnittgrenzen wurden, auch unter Zuhilfenahme von DGM (1m) und Orthofotos (Tiris Land Tirol), korrigiert.
